The Fractal Genius of THE SHINING | A Film That Captures the Expanding Patterns of Reality
The Shining is one of the greatest horror films of all time: not just because it tells a great story, but because it exposes the depths of human life, addressing psychology and alcoholism alongside the mysteries of the supernatural, blurring the lines between family dynamics, class conflict, and metaphysical questions like the nature of time and being. The failure of rationalism fosters a crisis of morality. The nature of evil and innocence are seen in the light of assimilation and the loss of self vs. the individual who acts on his own responsibility. The way we act shapes the way we PERCEIVE the world itself. A man comes to delight in the very things which once horrified him; a family y...

BARRY LYNDON: Unpacking Kubrick's Most UNDERRRATED MASTERPIECE

Fatalism, Class Struggle, the Emptiness of Ambition: Barry Lyndon is thematically rich, despite being one of Kubrick's less popular films. A CLOCKWORK ORANGE Analysis Pt. 3 | The Necessity of CHOICE & the Real History of CONDITIONING
Просмотров 35 тыс.Год назад
A Clockwork Orange is closer to reality than many people realize. It's often said that the films of Stanley Kubrick deal with the dehumanization of human beings. They give us a picture of what a person looks like when their humanity is stripped away. Nowhere is this more explicit than in his film A Clockwork Orange, where, as the title indicates, a human is made into a metaphorical machine-a me...
A CLOCKWORK ORANGE Analysis Pt 2 | Humanity’s Pinnacle & the Romantic Philosophy Behind Alex Delarge

One of the strangest protagonists in film history is Alex Delarge from Stanley Kubrick’s film adaptation of A Clockwork Orange. He is a violent criminal who does unspeakably horrific things to innocent people. Yet we are meant to sympathize with him when he is victimized by the state. We’re left wondering how he has become such an iconic figure. Why is he so fascinating? In this video, I explor...

It’s a Wonderful Life is the Most AUTHENTIC Christmas Movie

What is ‘Authenticity?’ I argue that the movie It's a Wonderful Life straddles two opposite poles of authenticity: on the one hand, it has the honesty to express the depths of bitterness, disappointment, and despair we might reach (thus making it one of the most relatable films of all time), while, on the other hand, it also shows us that our feelings about life might be wrong. I'm so glad that Denis made two important choices that made Paul's character arc so much richer. 1) saving the "we are Harkonnens" revelation to the later half of Dune pt II; and 2) omitting Paul's knowledge regarding the muad'dib mouse so that when he chooses the name, it seems an act of humility and knowing that small harmless-looking things have their own strength. These two things make Paul a lot more sympathetic and also emphasises his resistance against messiah-worship. More importantly, it lends him more softness and humanity so that the end of Dune pt II becomes more tragic -- where the Harkonnen revelation contributes to that hardened resolve and the new coldness he radiates post-Water Of Life

For me to travel or just go somewhere is good for my mental health. I don’t regularly go places because to stay one night somewhere is around $500+, even in winter and petrol isn’t cheap. I’ll never go on an airplane and don’t want to. The area I live isn’t a safe area, not much stuff to do and the oxygen feels different, It may be because I live in a city. To go to a new place I feel better. The last place I went had a lovely vibe, the people are nicer there and the air is cleaner. I’d live there but I’m unable to. I’ll never seek happiness from travel as it’s addictive and unfulfilling. It’s just memories in photos or videos. If you lose those, you only have your mind as a photo album. I think you need to find a place you can STAY in and feel happy being there, not hopping from place to place.

This was an awesome expose on Eyes Wide Shut. This goes deeper than just a standard review. This is why I love these movies and you can tell the intelligence level of say, someone who all they do, is watch marvel movies, which is just garbage. I love it! I think the Hungarian is the master of ceremonies, he was in town for that night after all, their voices sound similar whereas if it was zeigler, I think our good doc would have recognized him. Nightingale says that that they do have these parties at different locations certain times a year after all.

I've always tended to lean towards Victor Zeiglar trolling Bill in that Billiard scene. He's making it seem like he's trying to clear things up for Bill, but throughout he keeps dropping even greater suspicion bombs and in that veiled threats. I've always found the scene humorous because I recognize that Zieglar is tolling Bill and it's funny watching Bill during each bomb drop and wondering what he's thinking. For example when Zeiglar voluntarily says, Nick whatever the f**k his name was (a hilarious bomb drop). Then Zieglar talks about having bill followed. I know what the clerk told you, but what he didn't tell you is he put Nick on a plane to Seattle. So the clerk told you he had a bruise on his face, that's a hell of a lot less then he deserves. If I told you who's at the party you wouldn't sleep so well at night, why would he even tell Bill this?. If everyone was up to nothing sinister than why wouldn't Bill sleep so good at night. There's only one person in the world who if Bill found out was at the party he wouldn't sleep so well at night.... this is a gargantuan hint that Alice was at the party. And in reference to Mandy - the door was locked from the inside.. the detectives are happy case closed. I actually believe Zieglar when he says, suppose I told you that everything that happened to you there was a fake, a charade. We know for a fact that the whole, let him go take me, I'm ready to redeem myself, etc was a blatantly rehearsed act. It would have been the worst acted scene in a Kubrick movie had it not been an act and Kubrick hits the audience over the head with it being an act. And everyone in the room in the most melodramatic fashion gasps when the lady on the balcony "sacrifices" herself for Bill. And obviously someone put her up to seeking bill out that night. The whole thing was a blatant charade/setup. But the funniest moment is Zieglars last line, somebody died, it happens all the time (as he slaps his hands on Bills Shoulders and Bills shoulders flinch from the touch), life goes on, it always does, until it doesn't, but you know that don't ya - such an awesome final threat. Which to the laymen this moment parallels the scene where Dr. Bill is about to leave the hotel room with Zeiglar/Mandy and Zieglar puts his hands on Dr. Bill in a more warming gesture, I probably don't need to mention this, but this is just between us.

This film is indeed about the sickness of the Luciferian occult rituals of the western and zionists elite in their secret socities. These pagan rituals range from sexual orgies, homosexuality, breateriality, human sacrifice, drugs, and other diabolical things and the child is symbolic of the first born "sacrifice" mentioned in the Bible. Kubick's death was no mere coincidence, he broke the oath of initiatiion, look at the Freemason oath of initiation to understand what will happen to those who dare to break the oath. These poor sick people just do not understand what they are doing! They actually do not understand the real ancient cosmology that is behind this BS! Read my free on Chapter extracted from my book, Akashic Records and Holy Grails. People are concern about external demonic forces when the real evil is right infront of them!
